Cluj English Teachers' Association is a regional association which is open to teachers from the following counties: Alba, Bistrita-Nasaud, Cluj, Maramures, Mures, Salaj, Satu-Mare, Sibiu.
Objectives
To raise the credibility and status of English teachers as professionals
To represent the interests of teachers of English and to make our voices heard in the wider community
To promote self development in order to meet higher standards in our profession
To help teachers and teacher trainers to "translate" theory into classroom action
To disseminate best ELT practice
To provide access to information, expertise and materials connected to teaching
To develop a regional, national and international network of professionals
To create an awareness of shared human values
To meet European standards in education
