What is BETA?

Bucharest English Teachers Association is a regional Association, open to teachers from the following counties: Bucharest, Ialomita, Dimbovita, Constanta, Teleorman, Calarasi, Arges, Giurgiu, Olt, Dolj.

OBJECTIVES:

1. To promote self-development in order to meet higher standards in our profession;
2. To help teachers bring theory into classroom activity;
3. To disseminate best ELT practice;
4. To provide access to information, expertise and materials connected to teaching;
5. To represent the interests of the teachers and make their voices heard in the community;
6. To develop regional, national and international network of professionals;
7. To raise the credibility and status of English teachers as professionals;
8. To meet European standards in education;
9. To develop the awareness of cultural and human values;
10. To promote the Romanian culture and the Potential of the Romanian youth.

OUR VISION

We intend to help the development of a network of professionals responding the needs of the Romanian society for quality education, flexibility, identity and worldwide communication.
